Court Proceedings
The investigating officer, Sub-Inspector Monmoth Halder of Shahbagh Police Station, produced the accused before the court and sought a seven-day remand for further interrogation. During the hearing, state counsel Shamshuddhoha Suman argued in favour of granting the remand, while defence lawyer Tarekul Islam opposed the request and applied for bail and cancellation of remand.
After hearing both sides, the court approved a one-day remand for each of the accused.
