In a coordinated operation conducted by the joint forces in Homna Upazila, Comilla, a 32-year-old man named Sohag was apprehended early on Thursday morning, found in possession of two pistols and fourteen rounds of ammunition. The operation took place at approximately 6:00 am in the Mathabhanga area of the Upazila.

Local sources identified the detainee as Sohag, son of Taru Mia, a resident of Mathabhanga. For some time, he had reportedly been involved in activities causing local concern due to his possession of firearms.
