A man has been arrested in the Kushtia border area of Bangladesh with Indian cannabis in an operation conducted by the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
According to a press release issued on Tuesday afternoon, the information was confirmed by the Commanding Officer of Kushtia Battalion (47 BGB), Lieutenant Colonel Rashed Kamal Rony.
The arrested individual has been identified as Md. Hasibul, aged 45, a resident of Noapara village in Gangni Upazila of Meherpur District.

Following the seizure, legal proceedings were initiated against the accused. He was subsequently handed over to Gangni Police Station along with the confiscated narcotics for further action under applicable laws.
