Diljit Dosanjh to Bring AURA World Tour to Ahmedabad

Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh is set to return to India with a major stadium concert in Ahmedabad on 21 November 2026, shortly after achieving a landmark moment in his international career by headlining London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.

The announcement came just hours after his sold-out AURA World Tour performance at Wembley, where he performed before a huge audience. His upcoming show at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium is expected to be another major chapter in his expanding global concert journey.

Landmark Wembley performance

Diljit’s Wembley appearance marked a significant milestone for Punjabi music on the international stage. According to his team, around 90,000 people attended the concert, making it one of the biggest performances of his career.

He is recognised as the first Punjabi artist to headline Wembley Stadium, a venue that has hosted some of the world’s most prominent musicians and performers. Wembley Stadium itself shared snippets of the concert on its official Instagram account and highlighted the significance of Diljit’s appearance.

The singer brought his distinctive performance style to the stage, combining Punjabi music with contemporary hip-hop influences. His trademark bhangra moves, traditional attire and energetic stage presence helped create the atmosphere of a large-scale Punjabi celebration in the heart of London.

Diljit and his team also shared glimpses of the concert on social media, offering fans images and videos from the sold-out performance. The Wembley show further underlined how his music has travelled beyond the Punjabi-speaking community and reached audiences across different parts of the world.

Ahmedabad concert announced

Following the Wembley performance, Diljit confirmed that his AURA World Tour will next take him to India. He is scheduled to perform at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on 21 November 2026.

In a video shared on social media, Diljit spoke to the Wembley crowd in Punjabi while announcing the Ahmedabad show. Referring to the stadium’s significance, he said, “The world’s biggest stadium is in India… how can a Punjabi not go there?”

He then addressed the audience with the words, “Kem Cho, majaa maa? We’re doing Live at Narendra Modi Stadium on 21st November.”

The announcement immediately connected his international achievement in London with his return to the Indian stage. Performing at the Narendra Modi Stadium will give Diljit another opportunity to stage a large-scale concert in front of an audience in his home country.

The Ahmedabad show also follows his successful Dil-Luminati India Tour in late 2024. During that tour, the singer performed in several Indian cities, including Ahmedabad, drawing large crowds and further strengthening his reputation as one of Punjabi music’s biggest live performers.

Diljit has built much of his international profile through a combination of music, acting and high-profile live performances. His ability to merge Punjabi musical traditions with contemporary sounds has helped him establish a distinctive identity among audiences outside India as well.

For the moment, 21 November 2026 remains the confirmed date for his Ahmedabad concert. Information about ticket sales, pricing and the full schedule for the India leg of the AURA World Tour has not yet been announced.

The Ahmedabad performance will therefore be closely watched by fans, particularly after the singer’s historic Wembley appearance. For Diljit, the move from one of London’s most famous concert venues to one of India’s largest stadiums represents another major step in the continuing expansion of his international touring career.
