Pakistani TikToker and social media influencer Samia Hijab has once again become the centre of attention. Following a controversial comment about her clothing, she faced severe criticism and was compelled to leave the country.
In a video that went viral on social media, Samia stated that her style of dressing has changed over time, but she is not to blame. She remarked, “My clothing is becoming shorter because the mentality of this nation is narrow.” In the video, she criticised both the people and the government of Pakistan for their judgmental attitudes. Samia added, “The mindset of the people and the government is the same; everyone is inwardly alike. Because of them, my life became unbearable.”
Samia claims that due to the society’s narrow-mindedness and negative comments, she had no choice but to leave the country. She compared her experience to that of YouTuber Rajab Butt, stating, “The same thing happened to Rajab Butt. He too was forced to leave the country.”
While it has been confirmed that Samia is currently abroad, she has not clarified whether this is a temporary trip or permanent exile. Many believe that ongoing social media criticism and threats forced the TikToker to leave Pakistan.
