On Thursday, 13 November, several political and social programmes in Dhaka are expected to affect city traffic. It is essential for residents to be aware of the major events before leaving their homes in the morning.
BNP Programmes:
At 12:00 pm, diplomats will meet BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the Gulshan Chairperson’s office. At 2:45 pm, he will serve as the chief speaker at a discussion session titled “National Parliamentary Election 2025: The Necessity of National Unity,” organised by FSD at the Radisson Blu. Additionally, at 5:00 pm, he will attend a cultural programme and discussion at the Central Shaheed Minar in observance of the November Revolution and Solidarity Day as the chief guest.
At BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan, a video content inauguration in commemoration of 7 November Revolution and Solidarity Day will take place at 10:00 am, with BNP Senior Joint Secretary Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi attending as the chief guest.
NCP Programmes:
At the NCP office in Banglamotor, a discussion session titled “July Charter: Issues of Farmers’ Deprivation and Justice” will be held at 11:30 am, organised by the National Farmers’ Force. Attendees will include the party’s Secretary Akhtar Hossain and Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary.
Foyez Ahmed Tayyeb Programmes:
At the Dak Bhaban auditorium in Agargaon, the closing ceremony of the “Citizen Service Bangladesh” training programme will take place at 3:30 pm. Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Foyez Ahmed Tayyeb and ICT Division Secretary Shish Haidar Chowdhury will be present.
Chhatra Shibir Programmes:
From Dhaka College to the Raju Sculpture, a protest march will begin at 7:00 am against all July-era atrocities, for legal recognition of the July Charter, and to oppose sabotage by the banned Awami League.
Awareness of these events is crucial for avoiding traffic congestion across the city.
