“From our perspective, we were thoroughly outplayed across all departments in the opening match,” he explained. “We needed to bounce back here and execute our plans cleanly. We put runs on the board in the first innings, though we know we could have added even more. The bowling unit was exceptional, allowing us to level the series effectively.”
