Arijit Singh is set to mark 20 years in music with an extensive concert tour across nine Indian cities in 2027. The singer, whose emotive voice has made him one of the most recognisable names in contemporary Indian music, will take the stage from January through May as part of the special anniversary tour.
The tour will visit Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Mumbai, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Pune, Indore and Hyderabad. Organisers have described it as the biggest India tour of Singh’s career so far, bringing his live performances to audiences across several major regions of the country.
The opening concert is scheduled for Ahmedabad on 9 January. Singh will then perform in Chandigarh on 23 January before travelling to Jaipur for a concert on 7 February.
The schedule continues with Mumbai on 20 February, Bengaluru on 13 March and New Delhi on 27 March. The final stretch of the tour will take him to Pune on 10 April, Indore on 1 May and Hyderabad on 15 May.
The four-month itinerary gives fans in different parts of India the opportunity to experience Singh’s music in a live setting. His concerts are expected to feature songs from different stages of his career, allowing long-time listeners as well as newer audiences to revisit some of his most familiar work.
Among the songs fans will have the opportunity to hear are ‘Tum Hi Ho’, ‘Agar Tum Saath Ho’ and ‘Vida Karo’, along with a selection of other popular tracks. These songs have become closely associated with Singh’s career and his distinctive style of emotionally charged vocal performances.
Singh’s rise over the past two decades has been closely linked to his work as a playback singer, particularly through Hindi cinema. His ability to convey romance, longing and vulnerability through his voice has helped him build a wide audience. Live concerts have also become an important part of his connection with listeners, giving fans the chance to hear his songs beyond their original film and studio settings.
Reflecting on the anniversary tour, Singh described his 20 years in music as a long journey of gratitude. For him, the greatest reward has been the listeners who have embraced his songs and given them personal meaning. His comments underline the relationship between the singer and the audience that has developed throughout his career.
The anniversary tour is therefore being presented not simply as a sequence of concerts, but as a celebration of two decades of Singh’s musical journey. Each performance will offer an opportunity to revisit songs that have accompanied listeners through different moments of their lives while also celebrating the career of an artist who has remained a prominent voice in Indian popular music.
The concerts will be produced and promoted by Team Innovation. Tickets for the events will be sold exclusively through the designated ticketing platform, Thumpen.
The tour begins in Ahmedabad in January and concludes in Hyderabad in May, giving Singh a substantial run of live performances across nine cities. For his fans, the anniversary provides a fitting occasion to celebrate 20 years of music with the singer on stage rather than through recordings alone.
