Gas price in Europe hits $1,250 per 1,000 cubic meters: ICE data,  The price of natural gas in Europe has increased to almost $1,250 per thousand cubic meters on November 14 at the close of business, according to ICE data. Gas prices increased 20% overall for the day.

December futures marginally increased at the TTF hub in the Netherlands to $1,256 per thousand cubic meters or to 117.5 euros per MWh. Gas prices in Europe started to rise once more as the local environment started to cool.

Gas production from the Asgard and Visund fields has all but ceased due to technical problems, and the gas transportation firm Gassco says it is unclear when the problems will be fixed. Gasoline was selling for about $1,382 per thousand cubic meters at the end of October.

Due to depleted gas supplies, unusually warm weather in the EU in October, and a significantly higher average wind generation share in the total energy output, it fell from September to October.
