Israeli Airstrike Kills One in Southern Lebanon, Says Health Ministry

An Israeli airstrike on a major highway in southern Lebanon has claimed the life of one civilian, the Lebanese Health Ministry confirmed on Monday, as tensions continue to escalate between Israel and its northern neighbour.

The strike took place in the Baissariyeh area, located on the key road connecting the southern cities of Sidon and Tyre.
