Robert Lewandowski has confirmed that he will leave Barcelona at the end of the current season, bringing his four-year spell at the club to a close upon the expiry of his contract this summer. The 37-year-old Poland international stated that he will not extend his deal with the La Liga side.

Lewandowski joined Barcelona in 2022 from Bayern Munich for a reported fee of €45 million. Since arriving at Camp Nou, he has made 191 appearances in all competitions and scored 119 goals, establishing himself as a key figure in the club’s attacking line.

Lewandowski expressed his decision via Instagram, describing his four years at the club as a completed “mission”. He highlighted the challenges and achievements of his time at Barcelona and confirmed that he will now move on after the conclusion of the campaign. He also referenced the success achieved during his tenure, including three league titles across four seasons.
