Mika Singh Set to Lead Assam’s Tribo Fest 2026

Bollywood singer Mika Singh is set to headline Tribo Fest 2026 in Diphu, Assam, on Sunday, 4 October, bringing a mix of mainstream Indian music and regional performances to one of Karbi Anglong’s major cultural and entertainment gatherings.

The festival is being held at KPH Taralangso in Karbi Anglong, with organisers planning around eight hours of live entertainment. The programme will feature performances in Hindi, Assamese and Karbi, bringing together artists from Bollywood and the wider Northeast in a single setting.

Alongside Mika Singh, the festival line-up includes Assamese singer Zublee Baruah, regional performer Binong Timung and Bollywood live performer Naveen Rajput. Their participation gives the event a distinctly mixed musical character, combining the popularity of Hindi music with sounds and performances rooted in Assam and the Northeast.

The main programme is scheduled to begin at 3pm, while entry for attendees will open at 1pm. The event is restricted to people aged 18 and above, according to the available event information.

Mika Singh is expected to be the central attraction of the festival. Known for his energetic live performances and a long association with popular Hindi film music, the singer’s appearance is likely to draw audiences interested in Bollywood entertainment. His performance will form part of a broader programme that gives space to regional artists and languages rather than focusing exclusively on mainstream Hindi music.

The choice of Karbi Anglong as the setting also adds a strong regional dimension to the event. The district is known for its cultural diversity and distinctive indigenous traditions, while Diphu serves as an important urban centre in the region. By combining a large-scale music event with local and regional performances, Tribo Fest aims to place that cultural identity alongside contemporary entertainment.

The festival is being presented as more than a conventional music concert. Its programme brings together artists representing different musical backgrounds, offering audiences an opportunity to experience Bollywood songs alongside Assamese and Karbi performances. Such a combination also reflects the diverse cultural landscape of Northeast India, where multiple languages, traditions and musical styles coexist.

According to BookMyShow, tickets for Tribo Fest are priced from ₹1,000. The ticketing platform lists Mika Singh, Naveen Rajput, Zublee Baruah and Binong Timung among the featured performers.

With its combination of Bollywood music, regional talent and cultural elements, Tribo Fest 2026 is expected to provide a varied live-entertainment experience for audiences in Diphu. The event also places Karbi Anglong in the spotlight as a venue for contemporary cultural and musical activities, while giving regional performers a stage alongside a prominent Bollywood name.
