Three twin siblings have brought pride to their family and community by securing talent pool scholarships in the primary scholarship examination in Sakhipur, Tangail. The remarkable achievement of two brothers and their sister at the same time has drawn praise from their teachers, classmates and local residents.
The successful students are Fatema Akter Shemi, Anas Al Mamun and Arafat Al Mamun, all aged 12. They are the children of Mohammad Shamim and Arzina Akter, residents of Uttara Mor area in Sakhipur municipality.
Their mother, Arzina Akter, is an assistant teacher at Ghateshwari Government Primary School in Sakhipur. She said that the combined efforts of teachers, family support and the children’s dedication played a key role in achieving the result.
The three siblings appeared in the 2025 Primary Scholarship Examination as students of Baheratail Government Primary School. When the results were published, all three were named among the talent pool scholarship recipients, creating a rare moment of celebration for their family and educational institution.
At present, Fatema, Anas and Arafat are studying in Class Six at Sakhipur PM Pilot Model Government School and College. According to their family members and teachers, the three students have been consistent in their studies from an early age and have shown strong discipline and commitment towards learning.
Speaking about their success, their mother Arzina Akter said the contribution of their school teachers was invaluable. She added that although her husband currently lives abroad, he remains closely involved in their children’s education by regularly keeping track of their studies and encouraging them.
“My children should receive proper education and grow up to contribute to the welfare of the country and society. I seek everyone’s prayers and good wishes for their future,” she said.
The headteacher of Baheratail Government Primary School, Yusuf Ali, said the three siblings were highly attentive and hardworking students. Their dedication in the classroom, regular practice and cooperation with teachers helped them achieve such an outstanding result.
He also credited the combined efforts of teachers and guardians behind their success, saying that the students have a bright future ahead if they continue their commitment to learning.
The achievement of the three siblings has created excitement among local residents, who described it as an inspiring example for other students. Many believe their success will encourage young learners in the area to work harder and pursue academic excellence.
The family and teachers hope that Fatema, Anas and Arafat will continue their journey of success and use their knowledge and skills to make positive contributions to society in the years ahead.
