Eyewitness accounts and hospital sources indicate that pedestrians immediately rescued him and first took him to a local healthcare facility before transferring him to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He was admitted to the One-Stop Emergency Care unit, where duty doctors declared him dead at 11:42 am.

Eyewitness Sohan stated that a CNG-run auto-rickshaw reportedly moved closely alongside Sajid’s motorcycle, causing him to lose control and fall onto the road. Sajid Hasan was the son of Md Solaiman from Shrirampur village in Ramganj upazila of Lakshmipur district. He worked as a product executive at Al-Madina Pharmaceutical Limited.

The second incident occurred around 1:30 pm in front of the Jalalabad Hamida CNG filling station in Dholai Para, Shyampur. A speeding auto-mishuk reportedly collided with a van, causing it to overturn. The van driver, Md Shafiqul Islam, was trapped beneath the vehicle and sustained critical injuries.

Rescue worker Mizan Sheikh said that Shafiqul was transporting materials used for carton production when the accident took place. He was rescued from the scene and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead at approximately 2:45 pm.
