Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has formalised a commercial partnership with Tahoor Studio, a prominent lifestyle brand in Bangladesh. Under the provisions of this newly executed agreement, female retail banking customers enrolled with EBL will receive exclusive consumer benefits, discounts, and promotional privileges on merchandise purchased from the lifestyle retailer.

Executive Signatories and Corporate Framework

The formal memorandum of understanding (MoU) was ratified during a corporate signing ceremony conducted at the Eastern Bank PLC head office in Dhaka. The document was executed by the senior leadership of both organisations:

• M. Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) and Head of Retail and SME Banking on behalf of Eastern Bank PLC.

• Hanium Maria Chowdhury, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on behalf of Tahoor Studio.

According to an official press statement released by the bank, this collaborative initiative aligns with EBL’s broader consumer strategy, which seeks to enrich the lifestyle experiences of its targeted clientele by partnering with leading domestic fashion and consumer brands.
