Police have recovered the body of a 28-year-old disabled man, identified as Ashik, from beneath a railway bridge in the Lalpur Upazila of Natore district. The discovery was made on Tuesday morning, 26 May, under Bridge No. 213 in the Patikabari area, situated between Azimnagar Railway Station and Ishwardi Bypass Station.

The deceased was identified as the son of Mahasin Ali, a resident of the Baidyanathpur neighbourhood within the Gopalpur Municipality of Lalpur Upazila. According to family sources, Ashik had been living with congenital disabilities.
Local residents alerted the authorities after spotting the body lying under the railway bridge during the early hours of Tuesday. Upon receiving the notification, law enforcement officers from the Ishwardi Railway Police Station arrived at the scene to secure the area and initiate recovery procedures.

Ziaur Rahman, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ishwardi Railway Police Station, confirmed the police intervention.
