US President Donald Trump has warned that military operations against Iran could intensify significantly if Tehran does not return to negotiations in the coming days, signalling that key infrastructure could become the focus of future strikes.

Speaking in an interview with Fox News, Trump said the coming week could be “very difficult” for Iran if its leadership refused to engage in talks or pursue a negotiated settlement.
