Two celebrated figures from Bangladesh’s music industry, composer Rajesh Ghosh and lyricist Anurup Aich, have collaborated for the first time in their long creative journeys. Although the two have shared a personal bond for 25 years and have always appreciated each other’s artistic work, they had never previously worked together on a song.
Their first joint creation, titled ‘Keno Hoili Na Amar’, features vocals by singer Khaled Munna. The song has been written by Anurup Aich, composed by Rajesh Ghosh, and arranged by Rozen Rahman. The track belongs to the emotional sad melody genre and will be included in Khaled Munna’s upcoming solo album.
The album marks Khaled Munna’s return to solo releases after a 12-year break. It is set to be released by Dhruva Music Station and will feature 10 songs. The title of the album has not yet been finalised, but the singer has revealed that the project includes songs created by several renowned lyricists and composers from Bangladesh’s music scene.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Anurup Aich said that his relationship with Rajesh Ghosh dates back many years. Despite their mutual respect and admiration for each other’s work, they never received the right opportunity to create a song together. According to him, no artist or audio company had previously taken the initiative to bring them together for a project.
Anurup added that Khaled Munna’s interest in featuring both of them in the same song made the collaboration possible. His initiative led to the creation of a song that combines meaningful lyrics with a distinctive melody.
Rajesh Ghosh also expressed his happiness about finally working with Anurup Aich. He said that both of them had continued their respective careers in the audio industry, contributing individually in their own fields. Rajesh explained that he has always admired Anurup’s songwriting, while Anurup has also appreciated his compositions. However, due to a lack of suitable opportunities, their professional collaboration had remained unrealised until now.
For Khaled Munna, the upcoming album represents a significant chapter in his musical career. The singer thanked Dhruva Music Station and its founder Dhruva Guha for supporting the release. He said that receiving songs from some of the country’s respected lyricists and composers has made the album a special project for him.
With a combination of experienced artists and fresh creative energy, Khaled Munna’s new album is expected to attract attention from music lovers.
