Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman, approximately 50 years old, from a field in Bor Pukuria village, Kaliganj Upazila, Jhinaidah. The incident occurred on Saturday (8 October) at around 8:30 am.
According to Shafiqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Kaliganj Police Station, locals informed the authorities about the incident. The body was subsequently recovered and sent to the district hospital morgue for post-mortem examination.
The officer added that efforts are underway to identify the deceased woman and determine the cause of her death.
