Speculation Ends: Idhika Paul Finalised Opposite Siam in ‘Rakkhosh’

Ending all speculation and conjecture, Idhika Paul has finally been confirmed as Siam Ahmed’s new heroine. One of the busiest actors in Dhallywood at present, Siam Ahmed, became busy with his next project ‘Rakkhosh’ immediately after finishing work on Raihan Rafi’s film ‘Andhar’. There was no shortage of audience interest regarding this film, particularly concerning the selection of the heroine. During the pre-production phase of the film, the names of multiple actresses were heard for the role. Although names like Dighi and sometimes Sabila Nur appeared in the media, eventually, Kolkata actress Idhika Paul secured the trust of the producer and director. It is reported that a formal contract will be signed with her very soon, likely within this week.

The pairing of Siam and Idhika comes as a pleasant surprise for the audience. Previously, in February 2024, there was talk of them working together in a film named ‘Sikandar’, but ultimately, that did not see the light of day. erasing that regret, they are teaming up for the first time in the film ‘Rakkhosh’. Idhika Paul is now a very familiar face to the Bangladeshi audience. She garnered immense praise for her performance opposite Shakib Khan in the film ‘Priyotoma’. Although director Mehedi Hasan and hero Siam Ahmed have not yet spoken formally, the inside news is that shooting will begin within the next two weeks.
