The Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, the youth wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has officially expelled Saiful Islam, an executive member of its Sonagazi Upazila unit in Feni district, following allegations of moral turpitude and breach of party discipline. The decision came in the wake of a scandal involving an objectionable video featuring the leader that recently circulated widely across social media platforms.
According to an official press release issued on Wednesday (12 August), signed by Minhajul Islam Bhuiyan, Joint General Secretary (In-charge of Office) of the Jubo Dal Central Executive Committee, Saiful Islam has been stripped of his primary membership and removed from all organisational positions.

The central leadership explicitly stated that the party would not bear any responsibility for the personal misconduct or misdeeds of the expelled individual. Furthermore, leaders and activists at all levels of the organisation have been strictly directed to sever all organisational ties with him.
