Over a span of two days, law enforcement authorities in Dhaka conducted coordinated operations across Tejgaon, Mirpur, and Gulshan, resulting in the arrest of 110 individuals on various criminal allegations. The drives were carried out as part of ongoing efforts to maintain public order and strengthen urban security in the capital.
According to a press release issued by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Friday, the operations targeted multiple police station jurisdictions under a structured enforcement campaign. The arrested individuals were taken into custody from different parts of the city following intelligence-led and routine policing activities.
The largest concentration of arrests was recorded under the Tejgaon Division, where 49 individuals were detained from several police station areas. In Mirpur, 31 individuals were arrested during a separate special operation conducted over Thursday and Friday. Meanwhile, in the Gulshan police station area, 30 individuals were apprehended in a distinct enforcement drive carried out on Friday.
Officials stated that the operations were designed to address a range of alleged offences and to ensure continued stability in key residential, commercial, and industrial zones of the capital. Authorities emphasised that such coordinated actions are part of a broader strategy to deter criminal activity and reinforce law enforcement presence in high-density areas.

Within the Tejgaon Division, arrests were further distributed across several jurisdictions. Police reported that five individuals were detained from Tejgaon Police Station area, six from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, sixteen from Mohammadpur, seven from Adabor, eight from Tejgaon Industrial Area, and seven from Hatirjheel.
