Pubali Bank Opens Burn Institute E-Booth

Pubali Bank PLC has inaugurated an electronic banking booth at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery to provide modern, secure, and efficient financial services. The initiative, announced in a press release, is designed to facilitate convenient banking for patients, healthcare professionals, and visitors at one of the country’s foremost specialised medical institutions.

The booth was formally inaugurated by Mohammad Ali, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pubali Bank PLC, alongside Professor Dr. Mohammad Nasir Uddin, Director of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery. Their presence underscored the significance of the collaboration between the banking and healthcare sectors in enhancing service delivery through technological advancement.

Also present at the ceremony were Professor Dr. Hasib Rahman and Professor Dr. Nasrin Sultana of the institute. Md. Rafiqul Islam, General Manager and Relationship Manager of Pubali Bank’s Dhaka South Region, attended the event along with senior executives from both organisations.

Addressing the gathering, Mohammad Ali emphasised the growing importance of technology-driven financial services in the contemporary era. He stated that there is no alternative to digital banking in meeting modern demands. He further noted that Pubali Bank PLC continues to introduce innovative initiatives aimed at ensuring fast, secure, and hassle-free services at customers’ doorsteps. Establishing an electronic banking booth at a prominent healthcare facility such as the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, he said, reflects the bank’s commitment to accessibility and customer convenience.

He added that the newly installed booth would enable doctors, officials, employees, patients, and their relatives to conduct financial transactions at any time of the day. Services available at the booth include cash withdrawals, deposits, and other essential banking facilities. According to him, the round-the-clock availability of these services will save time and make financial transactions safer and more efficient.

Professor Dr. Mohammad Nasir Uddin welcomed the initiative, stating that the introduction of on-site banking services would significantly ease financial transactions for patients and their families. He observed that such facilities would help streamline administrative processes and support uninterrupted medical services. Expressing optimism, he said the electronic banking booth would ensure modern, secure, and swift banking services for all concerned.
