In Dhaka, the capital, various government offices and political parties are hosting events on Wednesday, 12 November. Here is a list of some key programmes scheduled for the day.
Regarding the Economic Adviser, at 11:00 am, Economic Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed will participate in the Economic Advisory Council Committee meeting at the Secretariat.
BNP programmes include:
• At 11:00 am, a diplomatic meeting will be held at the Chairperson’s office in Gulshan with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
• At 12:00 pm, on the occasion of 7 November Revolution and Solidarity Day, a publication and discussion session will take place at the Shilpakala Academy, with Senior Joint Secretary Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed as the chief guest.
• At 2:00 pm, another discussion session will be held at the China Maitree International Conference Centre. The acting chairman of BNP, Tarique Rahman, will be the chief guest, while Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will preside over the session.
• At 4:00 pm, BNP will conduct a leaflet distribution and public engagement programme in Kamrangirchar. Starting from Kamrangirchar Kholamora Ghat, the programme will be led by International Affairs Secretary Barrister Nasir Uddin Ahmed Asim.
For Ganadhikar Parishad, at 11:00 am, General Secretary Md. Rashed Khan will meet the Chief Election Commissioner and submit a memorandum at the Election Commission.
