Islamic Movement Bangladesh, initially expected to join the alliance, ultimately opted out and decided to contest independently in 268 seats, pledging support to other candidates in the remaining 32 constituencies.
As a key member of the alliance, NCP is now contesting 30 seats. The announcement of the three additional candidates fills all the seats assigned to the party, consolidating its position in the coalition and strengthening coordination among the alliance members ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
