Indomitable Bangladesh T20 Cup 2026 Rosters Revealed

In a strategic move to maintain competitive momentum following Bangladesh’s absence from the current T20 World Cup, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a high-octane domestic tournament. Titled the ‘Odommo Bangladesh T20 Cup 2026’, this tri-series is designed to ensure that the nation’s leading cricketers remain match-fit and sharp. The BCB has officially unveiled the three squads that will compete for a substantial prize pool and match-fee fund totalling 25 million BDT.

Leadership and Technical Prowess

The three contesting sides—Dhumketu XI, Durbar XI, and Duranto XI—feature a deliberate mix of established veterans and rising stars. Litton Das, the national T20 captain, will lead Dhumketu XI, a squad primarily composed of thirteen players from the World Cup preliminary roster. Najmul Hossain Shanto, the Test captain, will skipper Durbar XI, while the Under-19 World Cup-winning captain Akbar Ali takes charge of the youthful Duranto XI.

The coaching appointments are equally illustrious. The legendary Mohammad Salahuddin teams up with Mohammad Ashraful to guide Dhumketu XI. Durbar XI will be managed by the experienced duo of Mizanur রহমান and Tushar Imran, whereas Hannan Sarkar and Rajin Saleh will oversee the tactical development of Duranto XI.

Tournament Logistics and Spectator Experience

The Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur will host all fixtures under the glare of the floodlights. Beyond the boundaries, the BCB is focusing on a holistic entertainment package; each match day will begin with a vibrant cultural programme at 4:00 PM, with the cricket commencing at 6:00 PM.
