Police in Gopalganj have detained six individuals following a political rally organised by Bangladesh Chhatra League activists. The incident occurred around midday on Friday in the Bajunia Mona Market area, situated within the Majhigati union of the Gopalganj Sadar upazila.

According to local reports and police accounts, the procession was led by Omar Faruk Khan Ripon, the former general secretary of the municipal branch of Chhatra League.
