A 39-year-old Pakistani national residing in Brockton has been arrested by local law enforcement in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, following serious allegations of sexual assault and unlawful entry. The suspect, identified as Qaisar Ali, allegedly targeted a vulnerable woman confined to a wheelchair while performing his routine duties as a pharmaceutical delivery courier.
According to police reports, the incident unfolded on 2 August when Ali visited the victim’s residence to deliver prescribed medication. Investigators state that he breached professional boundaries by entering the home without the occupant’s explicit permission. Taking advantage of the victim’s severe physical immobility and reliance on a wheelchair, he allegedly subjected her to multiple inappropriate physical contacts and attempted sexual abuse.
The distressing incident came to light during subsequent investigations initiated by East Bridgewater police detectives on 5 August. Law enforcement officials swiftly worked to identify the delivery personnel involved by tracking vehicle details linked to the assignment. Authorities ultimately traced a white Toyota Camry associated with the suspect, leading directly to his apprehension and subsequent arrest.
Ali now faces a battery of severe criminal charges, which include attempted rape, assault and battery on an elderly or disabled person, indecent assault and battery on an elderly or disabled person, open and gross lewdness, and breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony. Following his arrest, he was held under a bail amount set at 10,800 dollars.
