Security arrangements have been significantly strengthened, particularly at major venues such as the National Eidgah and Baitul Mukarram. Worshippers entering the Eidgah will undergo screening through archways and metal detectors. The entire the field and surrounding areas will be covered by CCTV surveillance, with continuous monitoring from a central control room.

Three chief entry points—Matsya Bhaban, Press Club, and Shikkha Bhaban—will have road barricades and strict screening system to control movement and prevent unauthorised access. Police patrols will be intensified around the venue, and separate entry ব্যবস্থা will be arranged for women to ensure safety and convenience.

Specialised units, including dog squads, bomb disposal teams, and Special Branch sweeping units, will remain on standby. Plainclothes intelligence officers will also be deployed, while watchtowers will provide a comprehensive view of the situation.

Emergency preparedness has also been prioritised. Fire service units and medical teams will be stationed near major venues. Similar security measures will be implemented at all other Eidgah grounds across Dhaka, ensuring that every congregation is fully protected.

Traffic management will include temporary diversions at key points such as Zero Point, High Court crossing, Press Club Link Road, and Matsya Bhaban. These steps aim to reduce congestion and facilitate smooth movement for worshippers.

Designated parking areas have been arranged at multiple locations, including government premises, institutional grounds, and nearby roads, where vehicles will be parked in an organised manner.

Authorities have urged worshippers to cooperate with security checks, avoid carrying bags or hazardous items, and leave the prayer grounds in an orderly manner. Citizens have also been advised to report any suspicious activity to nearby police officers or through emergency helplines.

After a month of fasting and spiritual reflection, Dhaka is fully prepared to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with both solemnity and festivity, under a robust safety framework designed to ensure the safety of all participants.
