In a nationwide special police operation, 1,831 individuals were arrested over the past 24 hours, according to a press release from police headquarters on Friday.
Of these, 1,233 were arrested based on various cases and court warrants, while 598 were taken into custody for other allegations.
During the operation, two single-barrel guns, two pipe guns, six rounds of ammunition, eight cartridge shells, and three LG firearms were recovered.
