To celebrate its triumphant first year in the Bangladeshi market, IFAD Motors has officially launched nine vibrant new colourways and enhanced technical specifications for its prestigious Royal Enfield line-up. The announcement was made during a gala event titled “The New Chapter Begins,” held on Monday at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka.
The ceremony was attended by the top brass of the IFAD Group, including Chairman Iftekhar Ahmed and Vice-Chairmen Tanveer, Taskeen, and Tasfeen Ahmed. Addressing an audience of corporate leaders, bankers, and motorcycling enthusiasts, the company revealed a unique cultural tribute: four of the new colours for the Classic 350 are inspired by the landscapes and heritage of Bangladesh.
Cultural Heritage Meets Classic Engineering
In a bespoke move for the local market, the Classic 350 now features shades dubbed Dhaka Amber, Cumilla Black, Rajshahi Red, and Sundarban Green. Additionally, to commemorate the first anniversary, a limited “Bangladesh Anniversary Edition” of the Classic 350 has been released, retailing at 448,000 BDT.
The Meteor 350 cruiser has also received a significant update, introducing four distinct variants—Fireball, Stellar, Aurora, and Supernova—available in five new colours. These models now feature a sophisticated “Assist and Slipper Clutch” for smoother gear transitions. Notably, the Fireball series has been upgraded with dual-channel ABS and rear disc brakes for the first time.
Pricing and Model Specifications
IFAD Motors has introduced anniversary discounts of 10,000 BDT for a limited number of bookings to mark the milestone.

Industrial Growth and Market Success
Since the brand’s local debut in 2024, Royal Enfield has cultivated a community of over 14,000 riding partners in Bangladesh. Vice-Chairman Taskeen Ahmed noted that for 25 years, the country lacked high-capacity cruising motorcycles suitable for long-distance highway travel. After five years of advocacy and planning, IFAD Motors successfully filled this void.
To sustain this demand, IFAD Group has invested approximately 200 crore BDT in a state-of-the-art assembly plant in Chauddagram, Cumilla. Spanning eight acres, the facility has an annual production capacity of 30,000 units. While the engines are imported, the remaining components are meticulously assembled locally, bolstering the “Made in Bangladesh” industrial footprint.
With 22 showrooms nationwide and a global footprint of over a million units sold last year across 80 countries, Royal Enfield’s “New Chapter” in Bangladesh appears set for high-speed growth.
