Aastha Life Insurance Company Limited and Siamanto Bank PLC have entered into a strategic Credit Shield insurance agreement, designed to provide enhanced financial protection for the bank’s credit cardholders. The official signing ceremony was held on Sunday, 15 March, at the headquarters of Siamanto Bank PLC headquarters, with senior executives from both organisations in attendance.
The agreement was signed by Brigadier General Shah Sagirul Islam, NDC, AFWC, PSC (Retd), Chief Executive Officer of Aastha Life, and Md. Nurul Azim, Managing Director of Siamanto Bank PLC. The event highlighted the growing collaboration between banking and insurance sectors in Bangladesh, aimed at enhancing customer financial security.
Under the terms of the agreement, all credit cardholders of Siamanto Bank PLC will automatically receive life insurance coverage through Aastha Life’s group insurance programme. This ensures that, in the event of untimely incidents, families of cardholders will receive financial support, providing peace of mind and economic stability.
