Aman Urges Justice and Public Service Commitment

Aman Ullah Aman, adviser to the Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and newly elected Member of Parliament for Dhaka-2, has underscored the party’s dedication to the people while insisting that anyone misusing the BNP name must be held accountable immediately.

Speaking with firm conviction, he declared, “The BNP is a party of the people. However, if anyone commits wrongdoing in the party’s name, they must be arrested first.” He added that any obstruction to public service would not be tolerated under his leadership.

The remarks came during a post-election exchange meeting held on Thursday at the Savar Upazila Auditorium, which brought together upazila-level officers, employees, and heads of educational institutions. The event was organised by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Saiful Islam and chaired by the Upazila Land Assistant Officer.

Aman Ullah Aman emphasised the party’s responsibility to the electorate, stating, “The people have placed their trust in the BNP and returned us to government. It is our duty to stand by them in both their joys and hardships. With this commitment, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has begun his work.”

He also addressed the administration directly, warning that criminal activities—including terrorism, drug trafficking, extortion, and land grabbing—would not be tolerated. On corruption, he was unequivocal: “If any of my party members are involved, they must be arrested first.”

Highlighting the BNP’s ongoing commitment to a fair and equitable society, Aman noted that efforts begun in 2024 under the party’s “Fascism-Free Consciousness” initiative would continue unabated.

The meeting also featured discussions on local development initiatives. Aman Ullah Aman carefully recorded suggestions from attendees and assured that they would be implemented through collective effort.
