Arrest Warrants Issued for Singer Noble and Family

In a significant legal escalation, a Dhaka court has issued arrest warrants for the controversial Bangladeshi singer Mainul Ahsan Noble, alongside his mother, his wife, and two associates. The warrants pertain to allegations of financial fraud and embezzlement, with claims that the singer used a promise of marriage to deceive a woman into parting with a substantial sum of money.

Allegations of Romantic Fraud

The case was initiated by a plaintiff identified as Ananniya Shabnam Rose, who alleges that Noble cultivated a romantic relationship with her under the guise of an eventual marriage. According to the court documents, this relationship was allegedly leveraged to extract funds totaling 1,318,540 BDT.

The plaintiff claims the financial exploitation occurred over nearly two years, specifically between 25 August 2023 and June 2025. It is further alleged that Noble’s family and professional inner circle played a coordinated role in facilitating this misappropriation.

Judicial Orders and PBI Findings

On Monday, Metropolitan Magistrate Raju Ahmed issued the arrest orders after taking into account a formal investigation report submitted by the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI). The PBI’s Sub-Inspector, Nuruzzaman, stated that their inquiry found sufficient evidence to support the claims of fraud and embezzlement.

A Pattern of Legal Turmoil

This is not the singer’s first brush with the law. Noble has a history of high-profile legal entanglements that have frequently captivated the national press. In May 2025, he was arrested following allegations of “rape and physical assault” filed at the Demra Police Station. In a bizarre turn of events, he was granted bail in June 2025—only after marrying the complainant while still in custody.

Despite the gravity of the current warrants, Noble’s representatives have remained dismissive. Initially, an assistant labelled the allegations as “rumours.” Subsequent attempts by the media to reach the singer were rebuffed, with his team stating he was “busy with rehearsals” and that any formal interview would require a prior appointment.

With the PBI report now validated by the judiciary, law enforcement agencies are expected to move forward with the arrests. The case highlights the growing scrutiny on public figures and the legal consequences of “romance scams” within the domestic legal framework.
