Bangladesh Police Opens Sergeant Recruitment

Bangladesh Police has officially announced the recruitment process for the post of Sergeant, inviting applications from both men and women. Eligible candidates are encouraged to submit their applications online by 2 April 2026. This recruitment drive aims to strengthen the police force with well-qualified, physically fit, and tech-savvy personnel capable of performing diverse operational duties.

Eligibility and Professional Requirements

Applicants must hold a minimum bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. In addition to educational qualifications, candidates are required to be proficient in motorcycle handling and possess basic computer skills.

Marital Status: Candidates must be unmarried at the time of application and remain so until the completion of their probationary training. Divorced applicants are not eligible to apply.

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed under Grade 10 of the National Pay Scale 2015, with a monthly salary ranging from 16,000 to 38,640 BDT. In addition to the basic pay, successful applicants will receive all standard government benefits, including pension, provident fund, medical facilities, and leave entitlements.

Application Process and Fees

Applications must be submitted online via the official recruitment portal. At the time of application, candidates are required to pay a service charge of 48 BDT through a Teletalk prepaid SIM. This fee covers the physical fitness assessment and administrative costs associated with the recruitment.
