Community Bank Bangladesh PLC and Sandhani Life Insurance Company Limited have formally entered into a strategic bancassurance partnership, designed to broaden access to integrated insurance solutions for customers across Bangladesh.
Under this agreement, Sandhani Life Insurance products will be offered directly through Community Bank’s extensive branch network, enabling clients to conveniently access life and financial protection services alongside their banking needs. This collaboration is anticipated to enhance insurance awareness, reduce financial vulnerability, and contribute to the country’s sustainable economic growth.
The agreement was signed at the Community Bank head office in Dhaka by Kimiwa Saddat, Managing Director (current charge) of Community Bank, and Nemai Kumar Saha, Chief Executive Officer of Sandhani Life Insurance. Both executives emphasised that this partnership reflects a shared commitment to providing holistic financial services and fostering greater financial inclusion throughout the country.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior executives and key stakeholders from both organisations, highlighting the collaborative spirit behind this initiative. Representatives from Sandhani Life included Md Mahbubur Rahman, Chief Finance Officer; Md Mizanur Rahman, Company Secretary; and Abdullah Al Mamun, Assistant Vice-President of the Bancassurance Section.
