Bashir Ahmed Honoured with Posthumous Independence Award

In recognition of his extraordinary contributions to the nation’s music and film industry, legendary singer Bashir Ahmed has been posthumously awarded the Independence Award 2026 by the Government of Bangladesh.

Bashir Ahmed’s name appears eighth on the list of awardees.
