BTS Star V Reaches 75 Million Instagram Followers

BTS member V has achieved another major milestone on Instagram, strengthening his position as one of the most influential figures in global entertainment. As of Tuesday, the South Korean singer’s personal Instagram account had reached 75 million followers, making him the most followed male celebrity in South Korea.

V’s popularity extends far beyond his home country. Among male pop stars worldwide, he currently ranks second in terms of Instagram followers, with only Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber ahead of him on the list.

V launched his personal Instagram account in December 2021, alongside the other members of BTS. The response from fans was immediate and unprecedented. In less than five hours, the number had reached 10 million, setting new records for the speed at which an individual account attracted followers.

Last month, during BTS’s ‘Arirang’ world tour, V attended a fashion event hosted by luxury brand Celine in Paris. His appearance generated significant attention online, with around 22 million interactions recorded across social media platforms within 24 hours of the event. The overwhelming response once again reflected the scale of his international popularity.

V is set to return to Paris next week as BTS continue their ‘Arirang’ world tour. The group will hold the final concert of the European leg of the tour in the French capital before moving on to performances in several cities across North America.
