Miscreants set fire to a Shatabdi Paribahan bus in front of Sony Cinema Hall at Mirpur-1 in the capital. The incident occurred around 12:30 PM on Wednesday (November 12). Sub-Inspector (SI) Ripon, the Duty Officer at Shah Ali Police Station, confirmed the matter.
He stated that the miscreants suddenly set the bus ablaze in front of the cinema hall at Mirpur-1 around half past noon.
Local residents reported that several individuals arrived on motorcycles and unexpectedly set the Shatabdi Paribahan bus on fire. People nearby became panicked and began fleeing in different directions. Following the incident, panic spread throughout the entire area.
