Music enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating a three-day extravaganza in Ireland this summer, as the Carragmore Estate in Waterford prepares to host a vibrant festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Scheduled to begin on Thursday, 30 July, and conclude on Sunday, 2 August, the event promises an eclectic mix of performances across multiple genres, drawing fans from across the country and beyond.
The festival organisers have officially unveiled a stellar lineup that spans decades and genres, from iconic 1990s Britpop bands to contemporary electronic acts and folk legends, offering something for every taste.
At the forefront is Pulp, the English alternative rock band led by the charismatic Jarvis Cocker, making their first festival appearance in Ireland in 15 years. Their set is expected to be a highlight, evoking nostalgia for longtime fans while captivating a new generation.
Electronic music aficionados will be thrilled by Underworld, who will return to Waterford for the third time. Having last performed at the festival in 2022, they are set to deliver a high-energy, rave-infused performance guaranteed to ignite the dancefloor. Meanwhile, the legendary duo Disclosure (Howard and Guy Lawrence) will heighten the party atmosphere with a dynamic DJ set blending house and garage tracks.
Newcomers to the festival stage include Konikap, Mo Chara, Moglai Bap, and DJ Provai, each debuting their ATN shows and bringing fresh energy to the event. Folk icon Christy Moore will make a celebrated return to the Irish festival scene after 14 years, accompanied by Mary Wallopers, who promise “guaranteed chaos” on stage. Other notable performers include Maribu State, Self Esteem, Ezra Collective, Floating Points, Mogwai, K Tempest, Annie Mac, The Avalanches, and Chet Faker.
In total, the festival will feature over 60 performers across 18 stages, alongside an array of art, food, and wellness exhibitions. Early ticket sales have been brisk, with the first three rounds selling out rapidly. The fourth and final ticket sale is scheduled for Thursday, 19 February at 9:00 AM.
