Constant Unveils Eid Single ‘Sky of Wishes’

Renowned Bangladeshi rock band Constant has released a new single, “Sky of Wishes”, ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, conveying a message of love, hope, and heartfelt emotion. Released under the banner of G-Series, one of Bangladesh’s leading audio-visual production houses, the song has already begun to capture the imagination of audiences both locally and internationally.

“Sky of Wishes” is available on G-Series’ official YouTube channel as well as on a variety of digital streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and other global services, allowing listeners around the world to experience Constant’s latest offering.

Ahmad Mostafa Akik, the band’s bassist and co-ordinator, explained the inspiration behind the track: “Eid is a season of joy, reunion, and special emotions. We wanted to create a song that reaches the deepest corners of the heart. Every individual carries a sky of wishes within them—dreams, unspoken thoughts, and longings that drift freely. This song emerged from that very sentiment.”

According to the band, “Sky of Wishes” is an emotional exploration of dreams, love, and unfulfilled desires. Its lyrics evoke the experience of reaching for hidden aspirations, sometimes in reality, sometimes within the imaginative expanse of the mind. The song portrays unseen emotions—unrequited love, incomplete dreams, and ethereal imaginings—woven together with rich rock instrumentation. The track leads listeners into the depths of feeling, where silence can speak louder than words, and aims to instil warmth and hope during the festive Eid season.

Since its inception in 2005, Constant has carved a distinct identity in Bangladesh’s rock music scene. Their 2014 release, “Dream Parade”, dedicated to the national cricket team, significantly bolstered their popularity. Other widely acclaimed tracks include “Meghbalika”, “Khoma”, “Sadakalo”, “Asthir Onubhuti”, and “Shadhinota”.

The current band line-up features Jibon on lead guitar, Rabbi on drums and vocals, Imon as lead vocalist, and Akik on bass. “Sky of Wishes” represents another creative milestone for Constant, reinforcing their reputation for blending evocative storytelling with the energy of rock music.
