Dhaka Bank PLC and Ascent Health Limited formalised a Corporate Health Agreement on 30 March 2026, reinforcing their commitment to employee and customer well-being. The signing ceremony took place at the Dhaka Bank PLC Head Office, drawing senior leadership from both organisations.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed and exchanged by Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Emerging Market Officer of Dhaka Bank PLC, and Dr. Anwarul Iqbal, Chief Executive Officer of Ascent Health Limited. The event underscored the strategic collaboration between the two organisations in enhancing healthcare access for bank personnel and clients.
Representing Ascent Group, Amer Ahmed, Director, and Ronald Micky, FCPA, FCMA (UK), Chief Operating Officer, attended the ceremony, while Dhaka Bank PLC was represented by H.M. Mostafizur Rahaman, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Retail Business Division, M. Rezaur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Human Resources Division, and Mosleh Saad Mahmud, Executive Vice President and Head of the Cash Management Unit. Several other senior officials from both entities were also present, reflecting the importance of the agreement.
Under this partnership, all Dhaka Bank PLC cardholders and employees will be entitled to up to 30% discount on pathological tests. Samples can be conveniently collected either from home or at a doctor’s chamber through Ascent Health Limited. The agreement further ensures access to consultations with experienced doctors across multiple specialties, including internal medicine, respiratory medicine, rheumatology, dermatology, nephrology, neurology, gynaecology, and paediatrics.
A dedicated contact person will be assigned to each participant to ensure seamless service delivery, complemented by standard call centre facilities for additional support.
