The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) in Bangladesh has officially launched a major recruitment drive, offering substantial employment opportunities across its main office and various subordinate institutions. This latest recruitment circular opens up a total of 251 vacancies spanning 20 distinct categories. Prospective candidates seeking a stable career within the civil service can apply for positions ranging from the 11th to the 20th pay grades.
The application process commenced online on 1 July 2026 at 10:00 am. Eligible and interested individuals must complete their submissions by the strict deadline of 5:00 pm on 21 July 2026. This initiative is part of the government’s broader effort to strengthen administrative and technical capabilities across national vocational and technical training institutions, which play a crucial role in developing the country’s skilled workforce.

Candidates must submit their applications through the designated Teletalk web portal. The application fees, which include mandatory service charges, vary depending on the pay grade of the selected position.
For the post of Pharmacist (Serial 1), the total fee is BDT 168. Applicants vying for roles listed from Serial 2 to 17 will need to pay BDT 112. Support and lower-tier technical roles, categorised under Serial 18 to 20, require a minimal fee of BDT 56. All payments must be cleared using a Teletalk prepaid mobile connection within 72 hours of submitting the online application form.
Aspiring candidates are strongly advised to review the specific educational qualifications and experience requirements outlined in the official recruitment advertisement before applying. Given the high volume of applications expected for government sector jobs, the authority recommends completing the digital registration well ahead of the final closing date to avoid potential server congestion. Applications without successfully completed fee transactions by the deadline will be automatically rejected. Information regarding the examination schedule, admit card downloads, and venue selection will be communicated to valid applicants via SMS alerts in due course.
