Female Drug Dealer Apprehended in Dinajpur Raid

In a significant police operation in Birampur, Dinajpur, law enforcement officials have arrested a female drug dealer, known locally as “Sathi” and officially identified as Monir. She has long been alleged to be involved in the trafficking of narcotics, and her arrest has marked a notable success in the area’s ongoing anti-drug campaign.

According to police sources, the Birampur Police conducted a targeted anti-narcotics operation on Tuesday night. Around 10:00 pm, Sathi was apprehended near KDC Road, close to the city’s railway station. During the raid, officers seized a cache of illegal substances, including 50 tablets of Tapentadol and 10 methamphetamine (Yaba) tablets.

Sathi is reported to be the daughter of Shahid Miah, a well-known local resident. Police have revealed that she is currently facing ten separate narcotics-related cases, all of which are under judicial consideration. Her longstanding involvement in drug trading has earned her notoriety within the community.

Birampur Police Station Officer-in-Charge, Saiful Islam Sarkar, said:
“Following an extensive period of surveillance and investigation, we have apprehended the notorious drug dealer Sathi. Based on the existing cases and the narcotics recovered during the operation, she was presented before the Dinajpur court on Wednesday. We will continue such operations to eliminate illegal drugs from our community.”
