On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, the National Women’s Alliance, a sister organization of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JASAD), organised a dynamic discussion session on Sunday at 4:30 pm at the Shaheed Colonel Taher Auditorium. The session was chaired by Syeda Shamima Sultana Happy and moderated by Rabeya Dilruba. The event was held to highlight the Alliance’s significant role in promoting women’s rights and social justice.

The session underscored the need for progressive individuals and groups to unite across trade unions, social organizations, political parties, and leadership positions to increase women’s participation and influence.
