Four Senior Police Officers Transferred in Bangladesh

In another significant change, Mr. Tarek Mahmud, currently serving as Deputy Police Commissioner in the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), has been appointed as the SP of Habiganj, replacing Ms. Khatun. Meanwhile, Mr. Monirul Islam, the SP of Chuadanga, has been transferred to the Special Branch (SB) as a Special Superintendent of Police at the headquarters in Dhaka, enhancing the branch’s capacity in specialised policing activities. Simultaneously, Mr. Ruhul Kabir Khan, previously SP of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), has been assigned to Chuadanga as the new SP, thereby ensuring continuity and experienced leadership at the district level.
