At the start of September, Harry Styles returned to the music scene with a resounding impact, releasing his latest album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. Within just 24 hours of performing on Saturday Night Live, the album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, marking Styles’ fourth consecutive record to achieve this milestone.
The album entered the charts with an impressive 430,000 equivalent album units, making it the highest debut since Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl five months earlier. For a solo male artist, this is a landmark achievement, second only to Morgan Wallen’s debut of 493,000 units.
Styles first announced the album in January, amid months of speculation throughout 2026. Promotional efforts were visible across major cities worldwide, with lyric boards and billboard posters teasing the lead single, Aperture. Just one week after the album announcement, Aperture was released, receiving widespread acclaim and quickly ascending to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
To coincide with the album release, Styles also unveiled his Together Together world tour. Running from July to December, the tour spans seven major cities and includes 30 performances. Stops include Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, Melbourne, Sydney, and a special multi-night residency in New York City.
In February, following a performance at the Grammy Awards showcasing the year’s best album, Styles presented Aperture live for the first time at the BRIT Awards, further boosting its popularity. A one-day special concert was staged in Manchester to celebrate the album release, and the performance was subsequently streamed on Netflix, giving fans worldwide a front-row experience.
Critical reception has been overwhelmingly positive. Variety praised the album as “gradually rewarding, revealing depth with each listen,” while executive music editor James Aswad noted, “Fans may initially feel uncertain, but the record steadily grows on you, leaving a lasting impression.”
