The Bangladesh Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) has officially announced the schedule for the written examinations for four key positions: Assistant Director, Officer, Computer Operator, and Data Entry/Control Operator. The notification was released on Thursday, 29 January 2026, by the Administration-1 Division of IDRA. The exams are scheduled to be held on 7 February 2026.
According to the official notification, the examinations will be conducted in accordance with the memorandum dated 23 April 2025 (Ref: 53.03.0000.000.00.008.11.0002.25-21). All candidates who applied online are required to appear at their designated exam centres on the scheduled date and time.

Candidates are instructed to download their admit cards from the official IDRA website. The notification explicitly emphasises that no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without a valid admit card.
The announcement was signed by Ahmed Ehsan ul Hannan, Director and Deputy Secretary of IDRA’s Administration-1 Division. He urged candidates to arrive punctually and strictly adhere to all examination rules and regulations.
The application process for these posts began in May 2025, attracting eligible and qualified candidates from across the country. Through this examination, IDRA aims to recruit competent personnel to strengthen operational efficiency and development within Bangladesh’s insurance sector.
