The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC), the leading professional body representing insurance managers, captive insurance companies, and related service providers in the Cayman Islands, has announced its 2026 Executive Committee at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 11 December 2025. IMAC continues to play a pivotal role in maintaining effective engagement with local authorities and regulators, upholding the highest professional standards, and fostering innovation across the Cayman insurance sector.

The newly appointed committee combines seasoned leadership with fresh perspectives, aimed at driving IMAC’s strategic initiatives. James Trandl of GCM will assume the role of President, succeeding outgoing President Kieran Mehigan. Michael Wylde of Artex has been appointed Vice-President, while Adam Vanisek of Marsh will serve as Treasurer and Joy Domingo of WTW as Assistant Secretary.

In a significant development, IMAC has also launched a dedicated Talent Development Committee to identify, mentor, and cultivate the next generation of insurance professionals in the Cayman Islands. Troy Matarazzo of Beecher Carlson will chair this initiative, which aims to strengthen the professional capabilities and career progression of emerging talent within the sector.
