Tahsan Clarifies Break from Music and Acting, Denies Political Involvement

Tahsan Khan, who recently announced his decision to quit singing, has clarified his position amidst rumours of entering politics. Previously, he had also stepped away from acting.

He revealed that he first mentioned leaving music during a concert in Melbourne, Australia. “Very few people were there, and I didn’t expect it to spread nationwide. Just as I gradually took a break from acting, I will take a break from singing as well. I’m an emotional, poetic person, so I spoke in a way that has now spread widely,” Tahsan said.

Addressing rumours of political involvement, he stated, “Someone edited my photo, added a hat, and linked it to a political party. I am supposedly entering politics. I think this is part of the game. Many people are obsessed with going viral nowadays, so one must speak carefully.”

Tahsan also plans to focus on teaching after his break. “Every person has different chapters in life. Recently, I felt that I know nothing about life and the world. I need to study more,” he said.

To avoid the toxicity of social media, Tahsan has deactivated his Facebook page and Instagram account, which had over 3.5 million followers. “People on sabbatical don’t need these platforms. Social media is extremely toxic. I want people to gradually forget me; being active there would delay that process,” he added.
